POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

  1. Treat everyone with kindness and patience

  2. All equipment, Kayaks, paddles, PFD's and maps are to be disinfected between each use

  3. Walk up renters are permitted use of available, non-reserved equipment

  4. Reservations at our location can be changed up to 48 hours of start of rental use without penalty

  5. Delivery requests must be paid in full at the time of request. No refunds or changes are permitted

  6. Rental time frame must be decided at start of rental with full payment, no refunds, exchanges, or changing of equipment permitted

  7. No refunds or credits permitted if you returned earlier than your rental time frame

  8. Self Transports must bring their own straps and demonstrate knowledge and safety with strapping equipment (Team members may assist if available)

  9. Rental equipment may not be "swapped" out for another type or style upon payment of rental equipment

  10. Well behaved dogs are allowed, no refund if trip is unsuccessful or shorted due to dogs behavior

  11. Renters are responsible for all pieces of rental equipment. If damaged, renter will pay for replacement of all damaged goods.

  12. ALL renters MUST wear a PFD AT ALL TIMES. This is a safety requirement. No PFD, No rental

  13. LKR and team members are NOT responsible for items left in our facility/storage/key holder

  14. Renters are highly encouraged to bring a water tolerant GPS system if exploring or planning to explore the Grand River

  15. Renters will be charged a $10 per person fee for recovery of self and equipment due to fatigue/lost/need assistance

  16. Alcohol is NOT permitted with our rental programs

  17. Intoxicated guests will not be permitted to rent any equipment or participate in any trips

  18. NO Profanity or obnoxious behaviors will be tolerated.

  19. Use of narcotics anywhere on premises or with rental equipment is NOT TOLERATED 


ANY GUESTS WHO CANNOT ABIDE BY THESE REQUESTS MAY BE REFUSED SERVICE WITH NO REFUNDS
