Where are we located?
We are centrally located at 14023 Green St, Grand Haven, MI 49417 at Felix's Marina of off Stearns Bayou on the Grand River. You start and stop @ this location allowing ample opportunity to explore multiple bayou's that abound with nature ranging from Bald Eagles, turtles, deer, blue herons, beavers, swans, ducks, geese, salmon, otters ect. We provide a map of the rivers and offer suggestions/recommendations of popular spots, as well as rest area's and restroom facilities.

The Grand River has a gentle current allowing easy navigation up and down stream and in/out of the multiple small rivers and bayous that branch off. This is a very family friendly and entry level river.

Do I need to make reservations?
We operate based on reservations and on call. We highly suggest you call in advance so we can provide the best one on one service for you and your guests. This way we can meet your time and location requests. During normal operating hours we will place you and your family and friends on the water within one hour of calling.

What rivers do we operate on?
We are centrally located on the Grand River, but can accommodate most special requests with advance reservations and some additional charges for transportation to other rivers/lakes may apply.

Can we kayak on Lake Michigan?
Yes, if you have basic kayaking skills/experience and dependent on rip currents. We offer SOT's (Sit on tops) and transport for a $35 per round trip charge, min of 2 kayak rentals required. If swimming is restricted or on high risk, kayaking is prohibited on this lake.

Can we kayak on Spring Lake?
Absolutely, a map of local water will be provided. There is a $35 transport charge per trip, minimum of 2 kayak rental required.

Can I pick up a kayak and go?
Yes, just give us a call, self transportation is acceptable.

Can I rent a kayak for multiple days?
Absolutely, multiple day and multiple rental discount available, call for details.

Can I rent a trailer to transport kayaks?
Yes, you must be able to show proof of current driver's license, proof of auto insurance and a $45 per day charge.

How about if I have a large group?
Large groups consist of 10+ renters with discount price breaks, call for details.

Can I get kayak lessons?
Yes, give us a call. Karen is an ACA (American Canoe Association) certified Kayak Instructor.

Can I bring my dog?
Yes, we charge a $10 clean up fee. All dogs must be collared and a leash present, dogs must be current on vaccinations and be kid friendly. Owners must respect private personal property and understand most local county do not permit dogs.
